But, part of the benefit of RAW feeding is the exercise it gives our fur friends, both physically and mentally. The less processed the prey (plucked, cut up), the more challenged the dog is in problem solving: "How do I get this chicken out of this package?" , and that is "good for them. Most pets (including mine) don't get nearly enough mental stimulation. Living with modern man has taken any work out of his most basic of survival skills.
btw, here's another :eek: shocker :eek: you're probably not ready for: If your dog is eating commercial dog 'stuff', s/he may be eating chicken feathers, along with other nice "goodies" such as styrofoam, plastic, and diseased animals. Many commercial manufacturers use all sorts of fillers pet owners would rather not know about. Please, read here, and, here, to find out what's really in commercial pet 'food'. |
