Peeing and Walking, at the same time Rusty has been doing GREAT with potty training! However, the past 2 days or so he has started this new thing. He will go to the potty pad and start to pee then start walking away from the pad, while peeing. I don't know why he is doing this or how to stop it. But after he is done, he looks up at me and is like mommy, be proud of me i pottied on the pad Please help! When i see what he is doing i'll pick him up and put him on the pad and say potty. But i don't always catch him in the act.

LOL, that's so cute (and frustrating at the same time). I have the same problem, except my Bitsy does it when she poops. She'll start out on the pad, then walk while still pooping, so half the time there's poop ON the pad, and some off the pad. When I catch her pooping and she starts to walk off the pad, I kind of steady her in place so she finishes on the pad, then praise like crazy. I'm just hoping that's a phase they grow out of (Bitsy is 12 weeks old).

LOL. I know it isn't really funny, but I have a couple who do that too. It's like they just can't take standing still long enough to finish the job or something. Silly dogs. Oh, and mine are older.... sorry I don't have any good advice for you.
