Iam so sorry, you are in my thoughts and prayers, poor baby:( |
Sorry about the news...thoughts and prayers for your little girl. |
Poor little Maggie. I'm sorry you got bad news, but I'm sure she'll be just fine. Prayers and hugs, |
Oh, sweety, I am so sorry............I will definitely be praying |
I believe that prayers can heal and I am sure that you have a bunch from all of us here. :ghug: |
sorry to hear that she didn't heal right. but the surgery will make her strong. i just broke my arm in april and had to have surgery and two plates. with the plates you heal much faster.....i am surprised they didn't do that to begin with but i guess they thought she had a good enough chance with out the plate. the plates can be removed depending on how she heals....i am not sure if that is the same for tiny little doggies.....you may not want her to go through surgery even if the plates can be removed. many many people have plates all over their bodies. so don't think too much about that....just be sure she heals well......we will be saying lots of prayers for her. LOTS;) tina |
poor maggie :( she will really need some extra prayers. i would think if they put a plate in it would stay in. my corgie mix has a plate and it stayed in, it was a long recovery, one of the best things we did was water theropy once it was healing. she is almost as good as before surg so its deff worth it. keep us posted:hearts-xx |
I'm so sorry for Maggie and for you...it's so stressful! It's bad enough to have them be injured but when things don't heal like you hope they will it's even worse! But the good thing is, they do WONDERS with surgery and alaska_yorkie's Jack had to have surgery and his leg is so much better. He can tell you better than I can, but even if it's not the same problem, I'm hopeful that surgery will correct the problem! Just make sure they don't put the cast on so it will rub her again! My thoughts and strong prayers for you both! |
I'm sorry to hear Maggie will need surgery. I do pray her surgery goes well and makes her leg all better!!! |
Oh, no! I hate that. I'm so sorry! I'll say a prayer for Maggie. (hug) |

We are thinking positive thoughts for you both. Prayers and best wishes are on their way also. We spoil our little ones so badly that she will really be a little diva after her surgery. Take care of yourself so you can meet all her demands when she gets through this.:nursing: |
So sorry to hear that Maggie will need surgery. Prayers for as quick and pain-free recovery as possible. God bless you both.:) |
Prayers for little Maggie.:getwell: |
Oh no poor Maggie, Indy, Ben and Mal send licks her way xxx :( |
I am so sorry to hear about Maggie's leg. Prayers and well wishes coming her way!! |
thanks everyone. I am contacting a highly recommended vet for a second opinion and he may even be able to do the surgery if needed. He comes very highly recommended so I feel pretty good about going to see him. Hubby is upset. He says that by looking at the x-ray, it doesn't even look like they set the leg before bandaging. it really doesn't either. This is part of the reason I am going to get another opinion...the place my vet was going to send me is the same place that set the leg. So I want an outside person to look at it and tell me what they think. I will be contacting him this morning and will let you know what i find out. |
Mandee so sorry to hear this for you AND Maggie. I think you're wise to get a second opinion. Unfortunately, not every vet knows what they're doing! Thoughts and prayers that all will be well with your precious baby girl soon!:) :) :) |
You are very smart to get another opinion from a different vet group all together. I am so sorry that your precious baby has to go through this ordeal. When it comes to our Yorkie babies, NOTHING is too good for them. We want the very best because they only bring us joy. Please keep us updated and all of your YorkieTalk family is praying for you and your baby. Connie |

Oh Mandee...We are sending your little one our prayers and best wishes on her surgery. It is always scary when they are hurt or need surgery. Let us know what the new vet says! :nursing: Hugs-Kay & Jaxon |
Surgery So sorry to hear about your pup... Hopefully surgery will be the answer... and a lot of TLC wont hurt either.:aimeeyork |
Oh, I'm just seeing this and I'm so sorry. I'll be watching to see what the second opinion will be. Take care and hugs to you! |
Oh what a shame. Poor Maggie. Your right to get a second opinion before surgery. You never know what it will bring. Hopefully a more positive result. Prayer's coming for Maggie. |
