| Prairie Turkey Breast Jerkey Yesterday I got the hide-a-squirrel I ordered for Kalina. Inside was a "free" sample of Prairie Turkey Breast Jerkey, which is supposed to be 97% fat free, healthy and delicious. Kalina is not a big "snacker". She doesn't like most treats. I have a container FULL of homemade healthy treats of various kinds and she won't touch them. Well, when she smelled this turkey jerkey I thought she would turn inside out. She went crazy. Mind you, it's not real chewy and stringy like some jerkey...it's softer and kind of crispy. She flipped and wiggled and jumped like a madman. She did figure eights. I was going to give her just a tiny piece, but she was so cute that in 2 minutes I had taught her to sit, shake, and lie down and the sample was gone. Do you think it's ok to give her turkey jerkey once in a while? I'm going to HAVE to order more for her - and SOON!!

| Sophie isn't big on treats either and most of them upset her tummy. I found the chicken jerky that was 97% fat free and all natural. She flipped her wig over it. She gets a piece of one every morning when she takes her allergy meds and has had no tummy troubles. YaY I will have to start working on some tricks now. Oh and we will have to try the turkey jerky.
