| Legg Calve Perthes disease I'm new here...but I felt I needed to have someone people to talk to that might have or are going thru the same problems with their babies...7-27-07 Our little baby was diagnosed with legg calve perthes disease. We had an x-ray that proved it...when she runs she doesn't put any weight on her left hind leg...We are still in shock..Aug 1 she will turn 1 year old.. |

| Hell, Sorry to hear your dog has Legg Perthes. Are you going to have surgery or did your vet give you other options. I purchased a dog that was diagnosed with it also and he had surgery and is doing fine. He had surgery Memorial Weekend and still limps a little but it getting better all of the time. The sooner they have the surgery the better the prognosis is. Good luck!!!!!!!! |
