eukanuba heyyy this morning i ran out of pro plan puppy for pixie so i went to my local pet shop and they did not carry pro plan and the person who worked there told me to give her Eukanuba small breed. pixie seemed to love it she ate every piece of it. Do u think it is going to upset her stomach ? And should i just switch to this type of dog food now that i gave it to her already?

it is best to switch the food slowly, she may have runny stools for the first few days of changing food or she maybe fine.

From what i know, Eukanuba is not a great food and your pup will probably have a tummy ache with runny poo for a day or two. There is a thread here called puppy food recommendations that has lists of the good and bad foods based on their ingredients. you should check it out.

Does she love both ? If yes , you can choose the one that it is easier for you to buy . I mean available near from your home Since I have had Yorkies , I bought the brand my breeders was using . I never have had bad experience with Eukanuba . I will start the puppies on this brand . I have 4 girls , a litter of 5 girls and one of 4 girls I truly think that I can't have a food brand for each pups .

| Eukanuba We have fed Carib Eukanuba and Iams since we got him at 2 months old. He's had no problems with those brands. If you do switch food brands, you should do it slowly by mixing the new and old brands together and slowly go to all the new brand. I was told to look at the ingredients and stay with chicken or lamb. A friend of ours feeds their dogs Kibbles and Bits and wonders why they "expel smelly gas" - it's all about the food!!!

I have used Eukanuba for 4 years for my Yorkies and they never have had any problems . Are they looking unhealthy ? Do they have dull coats ? IMO , there are so many brands of dog food that it is very hard to chose . Last edited by Olivier; 06-14-2005 at 12:08 PM.
