				   | I've been seeing so many good reviews on the KONG toys online so I was wondering if anyone's tried them? I'm buying Bobby a KONG toy & some Stuff'N Paste & treats for inside so any suggestions would be great!

| My Lil Man! Donating Member | I got Reeses a Kong and he wasnt very interested in playing with it. He just laid down and tried to lick all the stuff out and the stuffin kinda stinks so when he got a good bit out and got it on the carpet I got the Natures Miracle stain and odor remover to make sure the smell didnt set into the carpet. Im sure it probably smells and tastes good to him but its kinda really gross to me. LOL. |

				   | My Tobi LOVES his red kong toy!!! If you put some of his regular food in it with a bit of peanut butter on top they'll be occupied for at least 20 minutes! Tobi didn't care for it at first (when it was empty), but once he discovered the yummy goodness inside he just fell in love! The kong toys are also great because they're so durable. You just have to sort of train them how to use it...I did this by holding my kong toy like an ice cream cone for Tobi, then put it down so that he could enjoy it on his own. I think that out of ALL of Tobi's toys (and he has LOTS), the red KONG toy is MY favorite and his.

				   | Just dont use the kong stuffing can spray. Boo got real sick and had to take him to the vet. But he has had one since he was a puppy and he loves it. We put carrots and a little peanut butter in it and he goes nuts.

				   | you have a 50/50 chance according to my um, "research" on kong toys in the YT forums. edgar doesn't play with the rubber ball much. he liked the kong stick, but chewed off some pieces. since he's pretty strong we've moved on to other toys. i recommend kongs to everyone i meet tho. but i don't buy the $7/8 a can stuffing. there's no way that stuff can be good for him. |

				   | Turbo loves his! He plays with it all the time, and with nothing inside of it. I think it all depends on the dog. |

				   | Teddy never played with his kong, a total waste of money, but he loves the Triple Crown Everlasting Treat ball - it's kind of the same idea, but it is bouncier - he loves it even without any treats inside. I got mine at Petsmart, but here is a pic. http://www.triplecrowndogs.com/shop/product.htm?loc=208 |

				   | my two adore their kongs and fight over them If you put peanut butter in it then put it in the freezer, it lasts even longer

				   | I bought Luigi the blue puppy kong and he barely plays with it. But you know, I haven't even tried putting anything in there just cause he had this diarrhea episode when I first got him and i was afraid to give him any other food (like peanutbutter, etc.) I'll try stuffing it with food soon and see how he reacts

				   | I bought Tia the pink puppy kong and it's the one she played with the least. I tried stuffing it with peanut butter, yoghurt (then freezing it), or baby carrots. The only thing she showed interest in was the baby carrots, and once those were out she barely even glanced at the kong. I also recommend letting your dog use the ziggies under your supervision only. Once Tia was able to work out the end piece of it and it was too much for her tummy to handle and she threw up. She ablsolutley LOVES her bully stick....she chews on it comfortably while I get to watch TV at night before bed
