| Beefstick Maddie got ahold of my grandsons half eaten beefstick and ate it. This was not one of those small size ones, but one of those footlongs. These things are loaded with sodium and I guess that worries me. I know salt is not good for dogs and she has been drinking water like crazy since eating that. Do you think she'll get diarrhea or start vomitting? Maddie has a very sensitive stomach and I'm very careful that she doesn't eat things she shouldn't. She has done so great since on that prescription food and I hope that this doesn't get her inners all messed up again! I think I'll have her sleep in her crate tonight...don't want any surprises on my bed! So...am I worrying for nothing? Anyone with any insight on this? |

| Good thinking about the crate! Better to be safe. A stupid employee of Mud Bay Granery offered Bodhi a treat. Turned out not to be one of their healthy products, but a piece of that nasty Slim Jim sausage stick. I was speechless. I just sighed and envisioned me returning a bag containing the result of her thoughtless action. But she was lucky because somehow Bodhi didn't have an adverse reaction to it! I was really surprised. |
