| ![]() So I put frontline on my babies last night... I have no idea if this has to do with the frontline or not, but my Fletcher was breathing very heavy for most of the evening after I put it on. Almost like panting, but no tounge hanging out. And then about 430 this morning, he woke up and threw up twice. Anyone have a baby who has reactions similar to this with frontline? Anyone ever hear of this? I just don't know if he is not reacting well to the front line, or if his tummy was just upset for another reason. I felt so bad for him! ![]()

| ![]() I was thinking you were MAD at me for asking this question... I guess you are upset that you use frontline and hearing that it might make your dog sick is what is making you mad ... am I right?? Ive had my babies on frontline for 2 years almost.. they have never had a problem. Last night when i put it on them, one was fine, the other was not. I don't know if it was the frontline, or the heat, or the activity that he had last night. I don't know! I was wondering if he was SICK last night possibly from the frontline. I mean are those symptoms KNOWN side effects of frontline? I dont know anything about recalls or anything like that.. so I didnt mean to ask a redundant question if I did... ![]() Another thing is (this could be psycho-somatic) but I got some of the frontline on me, a few drops too many and today I feel sick to my stomache! Ive never gotten it on me before... so I dont know if it absorbed into my skin and my body is having a sick reaction to it. I have a headache that won't go away! I didnt sleep all night, I was hot then cold, had nightmares.... ![]() ![]()

Bella Boo & Diggy Too! Donating GS Member | ![]() Not sure but I didnt wanna come off to be bashing Frontline...I wondered the same thing if it was the frontline or just my dog.....so same batch same packet same everything but different dog and He was fine. Bella also was breathing heavy like you described and very lethargic so I immediately blamed frontline but maybe it wasn't I dont know but I wasnt about to try it with her again either.....Vet said try it on diggy some dogs just dont so well with frontline...and he was right Diggy was fine! I chose advantix because bella came to Florida with us and Advantix is also a mosquito repellent and skeeters are bad down there so vet recommended to try it! She did great!

| ![]() New Hampshire! I think we are the tick capitol of the country! haha Last night after a walk, me, my dogs and my cousin had a combined total of about 8 live ticks on us, and then later on we found dead ones on the dogs! so probably 10-12 ticks we picked up in a walk, not even in the woods, just down the side of a main road! soooooo gross!!!

| ![]() Celstu1, I am not mad at you at all and those mad faces had nothing to do with the question. I'm sorry if it came across that way. I am upset that Frontline could be making dogs ill when I thought that was the safest. No Frontline has been recalled either it is just that it gets SOOO frustrating when we have to watch the food that we feed our dogs so closely, we have to be concerned about side effects from medicine... I just spent $72 dollars on Frontline. ![]()

| ![]() There has not been a ton of research done on Advantix but these are possibilities. The permathrin in it (used to kill mosquitos) may be a carcinogen. That chemical could also be linked to animal deaths. Ellie's vet said that humans describe permathrin as a feeling of something crawling on your skin.
