keep us posted on what happens at the vet |
im dealing with the same thing with my mia shes 12 weeks old i got her when she was 10 weeks old . when she was 11 weeks i woke up in the morning and picked her up out of her bed she was stiff as a board scared the living crap out of me !!!! i put nutracal and suger in her mouth and water ...after constantly doin that she was able to stand took her to the vet right away she stayed there with iv for 8 hrs ...when i picked her up she was fine i was forse feeding her with a syringe ,and she was also eating and drinking on her own ..but now its been 3 days that she wont eat on her own nor drink . shes very weak and mushy only plays for like 5 minutes and gose to sleep..i keep feeding her every 2 hrs and keep giving her nutracal and karo ..we have a vet appt in the morning but im getting very sick over this im not sleepin constantly caring for her its very scary..i forgot to mention she was only 1 lb 10 oz last week ..any suggestions ??? |

i feel your concern on this one. Since i inherited winston, he has gone through several uti's and a heavy dosage of clavomox, which upsets his stomach and then in turn lessens his hunger. after one hypoglycemic seizure i never want to go through that again. google / youtube a couple different key phrases like yorkie seizure or hypoglycemia. when my little guy started lossing wieght again recently after he went on antibiotics again i resorted to force feeding with moist foood and a large syringe. again my yorkie only weighs 3 pounds on a good day, so any loss in weight is pretty significant |
