Hair growth and missing link question!! Hi everyone, I started to use missing link about 2 months ago and I'm not sure if I'm crazy but it seems like it makes the hair grow faster on my babies. Princess Pia has always grown fast but this is ridiculous now. I would usually only have to trim her face every 3 weeks and now its every week and the same for Trixie Bear. Trixie is a slow grower but seems to be changing now after using this stuff. Even my pekingese seems to be growing like a weed. I just wondered if anyone else had this experience. :) |
Yes it makes Chachi and Jewels hair grow faster. For Jewels I love it because she has long hair. For Chachi I dont because I keep him in a puppy cut and have to have his hair cut more often. I am thinking about taking chachi off of it but I like the benefits to the skin |

I don't think it made Bobbi's hair grow faster as it IS slow growing...........but I can tell you I really like what it did for his coat ;)   to ML |
I started using missing link several months ago and I too have seen the changes in both my dogs coats and they seem to be healthier too. I dont know if its the missing link or my imagination but somethings happening. |
What is this? Where do you buy it? I would love to see Mochas hair growth improve. Thanks |
I might just have to get some for Chloe. She has all of 6 hairs on her head  Poor kid lol The little monkey has NO hair. She's only 5 months old, so we're still waiting for the adult coat. Looks like we've got a long wait ahead of us with her, though. Where can I get it?? Googling now. ;) |
It sounds like missing link has its pluses and minuses. I still can't wait to try it with my baby. |
I think that since Chewy started Missing Link she has been itching less and therefore less broken hairs. That makes them loonger faster |

The stuff is called Missing Link. You can find it many places. I buy mine at petsmart or sometimes dog.com or petedge.com. It's only good for 3 months once opened so unless you have many dogs don't buy a big thing :) |

Glad you mentioned about the itching. My pekingese used to itch a lot but since using this he has gotten sooooooooo much better. Also, my one girl Trixie's skin was dry and she had flakes and missing link has definately helped with this. A+++++++ to missing link :) |
We just started our dogs on this and I'm so glad to read that it helps their hair grow. Bitsy just had her knee surgery today and they shaved so much of her hair! They shaved her entire leg, her whole hip area up to her spine and even half of her little tail! I almost feel as bad about her hair as I do about the surgery......poor little girl. |
i need to put london on it |
I've thought about using this. Titan's hair is beautiful after a bath, long and straight but pretty thin and it never seems to get any longer. I think it just breaks off. Brandy's hair is much thicker and wavy but grows so slow. I shaved her down to about 1/2 inch around July and now its maybe 2-3 inches long nine months later. Seems awfully slow to me. Also the fur around her face seems to have split ends. I can't actually see splits in the ends but they are whitish on the ends like split ends. Does anyone have any pictures of their pets coats before trying Missing Link and several weeks or months after? |

Thanks so much for the information about Missing Link. I went to the pet store today and purchased it. I can not wait to feed Autumn and get her started on it. The pet store owner was showing my pics of before/after of some dogs that have taken it. What a difference. Wish me luck.:aimeeyork |
We just ordered Missing Link for our maltese, Emma :) Miko can't have it because of his liver and bladder stone issues. |
