| Question about California Natural This pet food recall is really scary. I use Organic Natural Balance, which wasn't recalled, but I still would like to switch to another food just in case. I know home cooking would probably be best but I am afraid I wouldn't be giving him the right amount of vitamins. Therefore, I was wondering if anyone else gives their furbabies California Natural? If so do you know if it contains any ingredients imported from China? Is the kibble small? |

| I had a sample bag of the California Natural and it was hit with my puppy and her brother. The kibble is a bit larger than Eagle Pack, Artemis, Chicken Soup but not large my any means. (Besides, if you were so inclined, you could smash it up a little ) I can't say whether or not they import ingredients from China or not, but the website says ''No products manufactured by Natura Pet Products were implicated in the recent recalls, including the latest recall involving rice protein concentrate." Link to site HERE. Hope that helps! |

| CA. Natural and INNOVA are both made by the Natura Pet Food company. http://www.naturapet.com/ They are both supposed to be a great dog food, but INNOVA is even better than CA. Natural. |

| When I spoke to a vendor at a dog show, she said that CA natural is not manufactured in china and when reading the website, it continues to say that natura products are not affected by all of the food recalls. Max and Abbie are both on CA Natural Lamb meal and rice and LOVE it. It has only a few ingredients so it's good for dogs with food allergies. The kibble isn't too big but I have teapots so they don't have any problems eating it. You may need to crush the kibble of you have a tiny dog.
