I dont know if this has already been discussed but if not I definetly want everyone to see this.

Im so mad! I switched my little girls off of nutro to Royal Canin and now ROYAL CANIN was added to the recall list yesterday!!! What the heck can I feed my dogs? I switched Penny to blue buffalo weight control and now some of blue buffalo's products are making its way on the list :mad:

Oh no! This is starting to get really crazy. I never would have thought Royal Canin or Blue Buffalo would be added to the list.

Is Nutro dry food in the recall? Their website press release says its only the wet food and the pouches, NOT the dry food or bisquits :confused:

I contacted the company I get the kids food from. No problems. It's an individual family runned business.

I don't know about all of you, but I am sooo utterly SICK of all of these food recalls! That is it! I am calling our vet today and seeing about getting Mojo started on homecooking....atleast that way, I know what I am feeding him and I can feel secure knowing that it will be safe and he won't get sick...or worse!!! This is just crazy!

Okay...so last night I bought the Royal Canin Mini 33 Puppy Food.

This is not affected by the recall, right?

No, for now it is on the safe list.

I have had Katy on the Merrick dog food. So far, I don't think its on any of the recall lists. It is made in Dallas.

Thanks for posting Shana. I've been trying to avoid the news due to the Virginia Tech sadness :cry: so I didn't know about this one - which we use. I did go to the Healthy Tails store and purchased some raw food for Mia. She liked it for a couple of days but not too interested in it now :rolleyes: I guess we'll just have to try the home cooked menu that LuvMySissy and others provided earlier.

Hey... how about a YorkieTalk Cookbood? Maybe some % of the proceeds could go to the new server fund? Just a thought.

I've had it with all this... :( My sick yorkie eats Royal Canin prescription food, and even though it wasn\'t affected, I\'m taking him off of it. I can\'t stand for something to happen to him because these pet food companies can\'t get their act straight...

From what I understand RC did the recall a precaution. Rocky is the RC Yorkshire Terrier and it is not the on the list, but I will be keeping an eye on it. I hope this recall mess gets cleared up soon.
