				   |      I'm wondering the Nutro.. I'm feeding is 21% protein.. switching to Natures Variety and it's 42%  that is quite a difference.. What is best??

				   |      Hmmm...That's a tough one. Are you feeding raw?    I've always read that 18-25% is probably the best, but many people swear by Nature's Variety. Not sure...

				   |      It is the Raw Instinct the dry kibble.. but I just looked at the other dry kibble kinds they have and they are lower in protein.. 28%. So just the Raw Instinct- dry is that high..Hmmmmm.

				   |      It's really a matter of preference. People who feed raw feed WAY more protein than 42% but I've always heard that between 20-30% is good for yorkies. But I guess it's just a matter of opinion. See this article:   http://lowchensaustralia.com/health/protein.htm  |

				   |      The highest I ever give mine is 28%, I prefer to keep it lower though, and keep all of their treats very low in protien as well, they seem to do better on a lower protien diet.     |
