I can only tell you what was told to me by Maggie's breeder. She said to feed Maggie four times a day, 1TBLS. of food per pound of body weight. Maggie is 3 months old now and weighs 3.5 pounds. She was at the vet Friday and the vet was very impressed that she was such a healthy looking baby. The vet asked me what I was feeding her. I said Purina Pro Plan Small Breed Puppy Food. The key word there is "Small Breed". The vet said great job and keep up the good work. Since the vet approved of Pro Plan, that is what we will stick with. I've heard a lot of negative remarks about Pro Plan, but our vet is a specialist in Toy Breeds. Also, my heelers (Australian Cattle Dogs) have been on Pro Plan since birth, and they are pictures of health. Everyone will have their own opinion, but this is what is working for me. Good Luck with your baby.
