Picky eater -- Should I let her starve ?

Glad to hear she is eating well. Mojo is the same way....he has always been extremely picky eater and first started out w/ only eating if I fed him, then if I was near him, now, he will eat on his own. Sometimes, he will not eat his food in the morning, but will eat it at night. etc. It is crazy! I think they are like us....if they are hungry, they will eat....if not, they won't eat. We tried different foods too and found some that Mojo likes and will eat on his own. BUT he will never turn down a good home cooked meal....ever!!

as long as the food is there and you know that your dog will eat it then don't worry about it. if you can tell your pup is holding out then i wouldn't give her anything else. she's just trying to get you to give her the good stuff and by doing so she wins and will do it again and again. at least thats what morgan tries to do LOL

Same here with Zoe. We let her eat when she's ready rather have her constantly snub her noise at the dry foods.
