| How can I help my baby's coat???? My poor Marley has a very dry coat. I don't know if I should cut the hair and let it grow, but my husband thinks is a bad idea I do give him baths often but he also goes and sits on the bent which it is really bad. My vet gave me fish oil to put in his food but I don't see any improvement yet .........Is there any type of oil that I can put on his coat???? thanks |

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | use a good shampoo and conditioner (doesn't have to be overly expensive stuff). I use biogroom lanolin shampoo and their silky conditioner. Lulu's coat was very dry and felt like a brillo but she is all good now. I get it at petco.

| Also make sure you are using a good quality food. This can make a huge difference in the appearance of a pup's coat. I'd also recommend a spray, leave-in conditioner or coat moisturizer. Shea Pet makes a really nice coat moisturizing spray you use daily when you comb/brush.
