| Anyone use Innova Puppy food? THIRD TIME I'VE SWITCHED Because of this whole pet food recall...I switched to Royal Canine but then my puppy started to have bad breath and found this was common to some other yorkie owners who used Royal Canine....so I switched again for THE THIRD TIME!!! Now, I use Innova which was expensive....but Sammie hardly likes to eat it. Before, he would chow down his food, now he just picks at it like he's on a diet. Any help? Any one use Innova? |

| Not sure what to tell you, except that it sounds like your baby doesn't like the Innova...Maybe you can contact some places and have them send you samples of their foods...Merricks has a sample pack of 6 different kinds of dry foods that you can buy for $6.00. Natural Balance and Evangers will send you free samples if you send them an email. Some other good foods are Solid Gold, Canidae, etc. Most of them will send samples. I would try that before you buy anything else. I don't use Innova, but I've read that it's a very good food. My doggie who is picky eats Merrick, and it's also a high quality food. Maybe you could add a little cottage cheese to it to entice him to eat it, or a little chicken. Just some suggestions! Good luck

| Mine would not eat Innova either. I hated that cause it is such a good food! They are now eating Canidae really well. I split one can between 4 dogs and then they make up the rest with dry, which I free feed.

| I had my Golden Retriever and Scotty on Innova puppy when they were puppies. They both liked it but it's too rich for some puppies. When we got our Yorkie, Sydney, I put him on Royal Canin but switched to Canidae about two weeks ago because I didn't like a couple of the ingredients in the RC. He loves the Canidae. |

| I gave mine all samples to try. The woulden't touch the Innova or Merricks. They ate the Chicken Soup but only liked it for a little while. Then I switched over to Canidae and they all love it. They are always anxious when dinner time comes because they really love this stuff. I have two picky eaters and they both love them stuff, so I am glad I found something that they all love that is a high quality food!!

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | I tried putting mogan on strictly innova evo but i think it was too much protein for her because she spit up (not really vomited) a few times. She was on merricks before the innova and i just gave her a 50/50 mix and she did better, no spitting up. Then i bought a new bag of merricks and she stoped eating the mix LOL So, now she's on canidae and doing very well. (the Chi i'm fostering loves it too)

| my furbabies have been on INNOVA brand since they started but it must be boring so they won't eat it by itself. I have since added wet food to their dry kibble and that resolved the problem. I like what I read on Innova so I stuck to it |

| thank you guys so much!!! I'm going to try again with the Innova and if it doesn't work, I'll try Cannidae. The owner of the store I bought Innova did tell me it was rich puppy food. Maybe it is too high in protein for my lil one. Thanks again |

| My big dog has been on Inova since she was a pup. When I got my new pup from the breeder he was on Nutro Natural Choice and I slowly switched him over. He seems to really love Inova. |
