| Made his neuter appointment, finally!! Things been very busy here. I refinanced and doing a lot of stuff to this house I been wanting to do for years. Been waiting the last 2 months on Paula (neices best friend) to get back to my vets office to have Adonis neutered. She was out for her spay, lol. This Friday Adonis will get neutered, microchipped, and a retained baby tooth removed. Adonis is my first baby, and is 6 years old. I didn't find this forum till I got Venus in August. So I didn't know the importance of having dogs neutered and removing baby teeth that didn't come out, and didn't have a clue you could microchip a pet. I've really been so afraid of him going under. Thats why I still put it off from last summer when I learned all this till now. Right now, with what all is going on at my house with remodeling, I don't have time to freak out about this, as my mind is quite occupied with a huge pile of things going on here. That can be a good thing for me with neuter coming up. I know me quite well after 50 years, too much free time on my hands can sure make me scared to death to have this done enough to cancel the appointment. I seem to freak out over things I dread doing. Probably won't hit me till Thursday night when I'm supposed to take away his food and water for the operation Friday morning. Adonis has never been under anesthesia. I'm sure things will go fine, as I had Venus spayed in November. But its still scary for me. This week, have to take down a wood fence, work shop arrives, then I have to put the new fencing back up. Being female, that will keep me busy all next week, lol. It'll also keep my mind off it, as I won't have time to worry about it till the last minute! Wish me well, and him too. He's been my heart and soul for the last 6 years, as I live alone, and have no children. If something happened to him, I don't think I could go through that. The thought of it scares me more than anything else in the world. |

| I'm sure things will go fine. I took Conner to be neutered and thought I would have the whole evening to myself because he would sleep (I planned on washing floors, taking a nice long bath and reading). I was not supposed to pick him up from the vet until 4 p.m. I called at 3 to ask how he was, and they told me he was ready to be picked up!!! I brought him home, where he slept for approximately 1 hour, and then wanted to play. No nice long bath for me that night. |

| I wish you well and everything should be fine, I just had Kodak done at 2yrs old. He was of course sluggish for a few days but it went well.
