What can I do to get my yorkie to lose 3-4 lbs. I have two of them , but one has leg problems and must lose weight. She eats like she is missing the fullness mechanism. She has many health issues. I think I can get her better if I can just get her to lose weight. She has bad knees and cannot walk for more than 1 block. Thanks, Edie

Have you tried to change her diet. I am not sure I would tell you to exercise her more, but you can't. I am not real sure what to do either. I would think maybe giving her something different to eat. Hopefully someone will be able to help you.

I would cut down on food portions and treats. Try feeding her a tablespoon less each day and see if that helps. You may have to cut a little more, depending on how much she is eating.

I have found eliminating frequent snacks helps my Baxter to lose weight. He LOVES to eat, and would eat until he popped if I let him!
