| Oh, the poor thing. What seems to freak him out the most? I got mine used to the shaver (I have the tiny Wahl Peanut) by turning it on and laying it nearby while I was combing them out before their baths. I later put one of the big comb attachments on and just 'pretended' to cut their hair. After a few times I was able to actually trim them myself. I do a little bit on one pup and then let him/her relax and run around while I do a little bit on the other pup and then I finish them up. Hope this helps

| A "good boy" or "good girl" sure goes a long way with yorkies! I also give one a break too, and not try to do it all at once. |

| mine used to be very afraid, even of the brush... I always talk to them in a little voice and tell them we are making a "pretty puppy".... alot of coaxing and they have finally gotten used to it... it was the same way with Hope and the bow, alot of encouragement and persistance and she is on her way to beauty... hehe
