| Life's Abundance vs. Wellness Does anybody use Life's Abundance? I'm researching food for my yorkie 2b, and I'm really liking Wellness, but I've come across several times people suggesting Life's Abundance. I was wondering if you fed Life's Abundance, what you thought of it. Or Wellness anybody? Does your yorkie like it, and are you happy with the results? I know every yorkie is different, but I think there's something to be said about different foods. |

| In the past I have fed both Life's Abundance AND Wellness. The dogs ate both foods well I changed because I was having a dry coat issue with Chattie and neither food helped correct the problem. I was also supplementing with Missing Link. I now feed Canidae All Life Stages and we have a GREAT looking coat. |

| Mine did not like either of those foods. The Wellness was a kibble size problem I think. I tried breakin git up smaller and they ate it from my hand. For some reason, they just do not like the Life's Abundance. They are both good foods, I would just get some samples and see what you dog likes. Most companies will send you free samples, Life's Abundance will charge you but it is not much. I also use Canidae All Life Stages -- just the thing for us as we have 4 dogs of varying ages. Another factor to consider is availability. I have to order my Canidae online as it is not available locally. That adds to the price a bit.

| Life's Abundance is what mine eat. Recently, I have been mixing a little Canidae to their life's abundance since I finally found a local specialty store that carries it. Personally, I LOVE what this food has done for both of their coats. I too, supplement with missing link and the results on my yorkie, poodle and cat have been excellent

| Both are great foods. If your yorkie is eating the Wellness and not having any problems with it, then you need to stick to the Wellness. It really puts a strain on a dog's digestive system to switch foods and yorkies are so picky that he is liable to turn his nose up at a new food. |

| It is not recommended at the Dog Food Analysis website. It states that it has insufficient meat content and use of controversial fillers although it has not yet been given a 'Star' rating. (I kind of wonder what they would give it though. http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/dog_f...ct=529&cat=all If you go to their website, it looks like great food. http://www.healthypetnet.com/Healthy...aspx?realname= I think I going to switch to Canidae with some Innova EVO canned mixed in. |

| I fed wellness and I noticed that she started itching and sneezing, so I swiched to canidae all stages and she doesn't itch as much or sneeze as much. I think that wellness is a good dog food though, and it may not have even been the wellness that made her have allergy symptoms because I was also giving her cottage cheese at the time so it may have been that. I am going to stay with canidae for now because she is doing good on it and I just don't see any need to change back but I did like the wellness. I also give missing link. I think that all the premium dogs foods are going to be good as long as it is the PREMIUM food and not full of corn and other fillers. |
