| Weight Question.. I got Bandit about 3 weeks ago and when I got him he weighed 2 lbs. They were feeding him the chicken soup for the puppy lovers soul. They told me he would be about 4-4 1/2lbs full grown. Im concerned because he has gained a 1 1/2 already. After talking to a few friends Im wondering if its the food that is making him gain weight.. or if this is just normal.. Anyone else see this in there pups? Im switching him over to Innova. |

| How old is your pup? He might just be a larger breed of yorkie. When my dog was a pup, he barely weighes 2 lbs for the longest time! He's 1.5 years now and is barely 4.5 lbs (I weighed him yesterday), no matter how much I try to make him gain weight! Oh, and I think the chicken soup is a good food (look for reviews on here), just make sure you're giving him the right ammount.

| How old is Bandit right now? I dont think a wieght can be guarenteed...some pups that were "supposed" to be under 5 pounds turn out to be 10 pounders lol..and vice versa...you just can never quite tell. They say (which may or may not be true) to triple the weight at 8 weeks or double the weight at 12 weeks to figure out what size they will be full grown..didnt work for my dogs but for some it does. Darlas mom was 8 pounds and her dad was 4 pounds..Darla is 5 pounds.. Reece's mom and dad were both around 6-7 pounds and he is 4 pounds..go figure lol.. Dawn |

| Sounds like he might be around a 7 pounder...which is still a great size!! Do you free feed or do you feed at certain times? I free feed and they just eat a tiny bit all day long...chicken soup is supposed to be great food. Dawn |

| Weight could never be guaranteed........he sounds like is going to surpass the 4 to 4.5 weight range but then again he may not. He is still a baby and therefore expected to keep growing. Good luck
