| Gunky Eyes.. Ewww.. Help Please A couple months ago Harley had conjunctivitis in one of eyes and we treated it with Triple Anitbiotic HC Ointment (comes in the little white tube). And it cleared up just fine. But now it's months later and his eyes aren't bad like they were with the conjunc. but they always have some icky-ness to them. I have to clean them with a tissue atleast 2 or 3 times a day and the gunk is either black or gray. Some of it's hard but the rest of it is sticky and sometimes floats over his eye. It doesn't appear to bother him any but I'm just wondering if I should go ahead and treat him again for a week or so with the T.A. HC Ointment. Thanks.

| I would call the vet, and ask him. He might want to give you some other eye ointment. Hope your little one's eyes clear up soon. Please keep us posted |

| Now this is gonna sound really weird!! The best thing to clear up an eye infection is..... breast milk,LOL i can hear you all saying WHAT!!! When i worked in the maternity hospital this is what we always did for babies with sticky eyes. My friends baby had a gunky eye for 5 months!!!, she tried everything the doctors gave for it and it wouldnt clear it so in the end she tried my method and within 1 week was gone. Of course you will need the help of a new mum who is breast feeding LOL
