| Missy's food - she's getting bored with it When I got Missy 2.5 weeks ago from the breeder, they provided me with a bag of Eukanoba (dry food) and a small container of Cesar (wet food) for small breeds and said to mix the two together. I have been doing this for 2.5 weeks straight, but I noticed over the past couple of days that she is getting a bit bored with it. I know that every pup is different, but not ever having a dog before, I don't know how to make the transition to a new food. Do I just buy a few and see which one she wants? Has anyone else started with this food and then switched? share all successful food change stories if you can. Thanks. Last edited by ladydinj; 01-26-2007 at 12:19 PM. |

| You need to switch foods slowly. Start by mixing the old and new foods together and keep increasing the quantity of new food and decreasing the quantity of old food. This should take place over several days. Also, look for a good quality food (do a search, there are some great links and threads here). Good luck! BTW, Missy is a doll!

| What a gorgeous little girl! There's a lot of threads on diets and nutrition on the forum, take your time and read through them. My Chanel is very picky with food, so i cook for them, and add different things to it to keep it interesting for her. |
