| How long to wait before having baby teeth pulled???? Dooney is 6 months old. He still has his baby canines and no signs yet of adult canines, looks like his molars are coming in but he has two with baby molars still in place. How long should I wait until I get them pulled by a vet?

| Wish I could help. Princess Sophie lost her last fang (canine) last week and today I found her gagging on a molar. Pulled that out of her mouth. I didn't think she had any more baby teeth but now I don't know. She is scheduled for her spay in about a week and will have any remaining teeth removed at that time. I just keep brushing her teeth hoping more come out. LOL I hope you find some advice that will help you and your baby very soon!! Blessings!

| The vet will know which are baby teeth and could probably pull them now.

| Thanks everyone. I called my vet and they said I can have him get them pulled now. I'm gonna wait a couple of weeks to see if they loosen up some more ( also gives me time to mentally prep for the anesthesia part)... Will keep everyone updated.

| So those baby molars came out. I was concern with the baby molars because it seemed that he didnt want to eat much when they were still there. Also his adult canines are coming in, I've been checking everyday to see if the baby canines are loose, but so far not yet. I'm gonna give him a few more weeks. In the mean time, lots of teeth brushing, tug of war and bully sticks. He just turned 7 months old.
