| What age do you take a puppy to groomer Our little Pookie is now 4 mos. old and her hair is starting to look overgrown and messy even tho I brush her regularly. We wanted to keep her hair in a puppy cut anyway, but is it too soon to have her hair trimmed? I should add that she is in a phase right now where she is easily startled. So I'm torn about taking her to a groomer. |

| Jewels and Chachi had their first grooming at 3 months. If Pookie is easily startled I would just take her and get a sanitary cut and her nails done so she can get used to the groomer first. I think Petsmart has a puppy package where they do that and its really reasonable priced. Its just really to get them used to going to the groomer

| Yeah, I'd try to the puppy package. I used to get it for Howie when he was a baby. 4 months is definetly old enough.
