Rotflmao:yelrotflm :lol tears :grin2: NOPEY, does yours jump UP fast unexpectedly? I never ever know when Chloe will jump into action. Now that she is older, her tongue is wider, yet it still slides right up in there. Nope YOU are not alone ha ha ha |
One of the girls in the neighborhood here says her's loves to lick photos, now that seems weird, maybe dangerous, depending on what was used to develop them:eek: |
Licking?? What's the answer Our yorkie Dooter also licks lots of things; our skin, bed sheets, sofa my husbands pants, shirts, etc. Any answers? Should we be worried? |
It's ALIVE!!!!! this thread I mean I hope not. My Maddie licks everything, feet are her favorite.:D But she is also known to lick pillows, blankets, the couch, your clothes (while your wearing them), and whatever else her little tongue desires!:D |
Lucky is a licker too....sometimes I don't mind it and other times I am wondering what he would do if I licked him back....lmao Maybe they are love bugs!! |
:mad:One of mine does this...especially my pillow! Until there is a big wet spot on it! for the life of me I cannot figure out the facination, and I can never catch the culprit in the act...but I'm 99.9% sure it's Trixie. |

:p I'll tell the dh about that experiment!! He seems to be his favorite. |
Maybe the mattress absorbed her saliva, and so she constantly licks the bedsheet again and again because of the scent? Sugar does this, she always licks my clothes while resting on my laps, when I say "no", she quit. But after a while she licks the same spot again, not other part of clothes, so I guess it's the saliva on my clothes make her lick again and again. |
Muffin used to lick like that, too, but Muffin hasn't started. Maybe she never will...;) |
Both of ours like to lick the couch. When Prince Charming is tired he will try to lick my hand. Bella will lick or chew anything and everything she can get to. |
I meant that Kacee hasn't started that yet. |

They are licking because they taste stuff left behind. Skin is salty if not freshly washed. Bed sheets and pillows are salty from millions of skin cells. Snot is salty. Furniture is cover in skin cells, food spills, anything that you sat in that day where ever you went. If it really bugs you try washing and cleanig everything for a few days and see if it helps. I think of Eva as my personal clean police. If she is licking at something I clean it. Then she pays it no attention. |
My Maddie loves to lick the palms of your hands. But if you have lotion on anywhere, that is even better. Especially legs. She also loves to lick a man's neck.... never a woman's, only a man's. I tease my kids she gets that from me... I have always said I would lick Brett Favre's neck any day!!! ;) Maybe I gave her the idea! |
