| ![]() Hi! I'm getting my first puppy in 3 weeks, he'll be about 12 wk when i get him, and I keep reading about wet food and dry food, and how many times to feed the puppy. My family has had dogs before and just fed them puppy kibble, then adult kibble and leaving it a bit for them all day. So I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of how to regulate food and how to start off (b/c I really want to take care of my puppy). Currently my parents' dog eats hills science diet puppy, he's about 11 months. Would this be oky for my own puppy? Thanks in advance for any info you guys can give!! ~Camly |

| ![]() i would feed the pup whatever the breeder is. just so he doesn't get an upset belly. i free feed. i prefer kibble only. i know many yorks that got a taste for wet food and refuse kibble. kibble is important for essential nutrition and keeping teeth clean. the brand of food is very controversial on y/t. i feed my york- nutro lamb and rice. he's really picky. try to stay away from kibble with corn in it. it tends to give itchy skin.
