| shots? hi im new here and ive been reading most posts and you guys seem so knowledgable about yorkies. i just got my yorkie on saturday evening from a breeder. and she GEO [my puppy] got a NEOPAR vaccine and NASALGUARD on 7/15. so i went to my vet today [BANFIELD IN PETSMART] for the first time since they were closed on sunday and monday and they told me that they dont really trust breeders and they are going to just start from stratch. GEO got just one shot distempter shot today and a dewormer. they told me to come back next wednesday for coronavirus. and in three weeks for a booster. is that right? also, they are going to give him lepto and they told me they never heard of any problems with that vaccine. but they can do a small benedryl injection and watch him for 30 minutes for precaution and see if an allegeric reaction occurs? does this all sound right.? geo is soo small and i dont want him to get hurt. he is 8 weeks and 2 lbs. hes soo cute. |
