| My Yorkie likes to eat ice! My Yorkie likes to eat ice! He also likes to play w/ it before he actually eats it. He'll hit it across the room or throw it into the air. It is quite funny to watch his fascination w/ ice. |

| Yes, ice is for sure a favorite among the Yorkies at times. Just please be careful as it can be very damaging to their teeth!! (truly is NOT the best thing for them to have, make sure the pieces are micro tiny)

| I agree that it isn't the best for their teeth. Will only give him ice once in a while. But their excitement over ice is quite funny! |

| nala loves ice. if she hears the ice maker she comes running to the kitchen and begs someone for an ice cube. when we actually give her the ice to eat it's always crushed but we will give her the whole cube in the kitchen so she can chase it and play with it. she won't eat it until it melts and gets smaller. |

| My girls come running when they hear the ice machine on the fridge too - they don't really eat it - just love to scoot it around the kitchen floor. Then Mommy gets to have lots of fun cleaning!

| Chachi likes to grab the ice from the refrigerator maker and play with it also. He gets it all over the place.

| When it gets hot in the summer here, Lucy will come begging for ice, we take it out and put it on the grass in the shade and she will just lick it until it is all gone. When she was a pup she used to play with it but now she is a little lady she cant be bothered to play when it is too hot |

| Ohhh no - it's so hot here in Vegas that I put ice cubes in Mia's water to keep it cool. But she'll also comes up to us when we've got our ice water and will bark until we give her one.... but that ends up being 3!!! She'll even paw at our mugs to tell us she wants it.

| Kona loves ice too! On hot days I'll put an ice cube in her water, after it is melted down most of the way, she'll fish it out and eat it. It is so funny to watch her play with the ice. |

| WOW! I never knew ice was bad. Is it just bad for small dogs teeth or does this include big dogs too? I started giving ice to dogs years ago - in fact I used to have a dog that would only eat ice and not drink water! |
