sweetgracie don't take offense... yougetthesmiles is very nice!!!!!! We are all looking for what is best to feed our babies. I use science diet puppy right now for Juicy. I have ordered the merricks puppy plate, canidae, nutro, and chicken soup. I haven't decided just yet what I am going to stick with. I haven't recieved any of them Whatever the girls don't like will go to my local animal shelter. Good luck !!!

I know Royal Canin has corn in it, but my Schatzi loves it, and I did the food grade thing, and it gets a 96% an "A"! This grade is for the mini puppy 33 formula...

I've been watching her for itching, becasue I heard corn can casue yorkies to itch, but so far she is doing great!

And you also need to make sure you get a food that isn't TOO high in protein, it's bad for yorkies...

those companies pay the vets to sell their product in the vets office. it helps the vet money wise when they sell the products to the customer thus helping the food company........

It is an EXCELLENT food...the first two ingredients are Chicken and Turkey, it is all natural, there's no corn in it, and my two LOVE it and they are VERY VERY picky. I did lots of research and tried many many foods (ProPlan, Merricks, Innova, Royal Canine, Candidae, etc.) before I found Chicken Soup. The bites are also tiny (same size as the Science Diet Puppy kibbles) which makes it easy for our little yorkies to eat! :thumbup:

I found a Science Diet dog food that has lamb and, I think, rice (no corn). Reuger just loves it. I've been mixing it with Chicken Soup Dog food. Reuger is allergic to corn and he has been on Science Diet, but he really didn't have any trouble with it. I've switched because he seems bored with his food.

the chicken soup has salt in it, why would they put salt in dog food?

It is only 0.3% Sodium...that is a miniscule amount of salt.
