| Advise with Shylah and eating. I can't get Shylah to eat on a scheduled basis. Plus I really don't know what she likes to eat. I don't think she cares for the Royal Canine puppy food, which the breeder gave us, plus I think it is contributing to her skin rash. She did try Starsky's Nutro Lamb and Rice and ate a little of that. I can sometimes get her to eat the Ceasers moist food, but I want her to be on dry. What else should I try? And how do I bring it into her system. I am thinking of going to get the puppy Nutro or is there something better out there? I need advise. Starsky wasn't this difficult. No problems eating and he is a big boy. Shylah is tiny and I don't want her to have a hypoglycemic attack. I know I posted this in another post, but I need all the help I can get. I am always worrying about her.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | You might try mixing the Royal Canin with some of the Cesars, you also might try to moisten the dry food. Ruby seems to prefer the moistened food over dry. We are still trying different foods though in search of something good for her that she will eat consistently. Good luck

| Kona also likes her dry food mixed with a little wet food or with water. I've noticed that the dry food could sit out for a while, but if I mix it with something she'll eat it all. Right now her dry food is a mix of Innova Puppy and Merrick's Puppy Plate. For the wet part, I use Merrick's Puppy Plate, cottage cheese, or water. |

| I have the pickiest little guy EVER...we tried about 7 or 8 foods before we found one that Hobbs liked. The grand prize winner was CHICKEN SOUP! We just leave it out all day and free feed. We have noticed that he usually waits until late at night to eat. I guess he is holding out for treats or table scraps and when he realizes he isn't getting anymore he'll go eat his food Hobbs does need to gain some weight so I think I'm going to start putting plain yogurt on his food in the AM and cottage cheese on his food in the PM and leave just plain dry food for him out the rest of the day. But he really does love the Chicken Soup. It is the only thing that he'll touch. I have never tried Merricks, but a lot of people on here say their yorkies love it! |
