What Puppy Treats to give my puppy??? Hi, my little girl is 11 weeks old and I was told to mix her food with a little bit of people food for the first week in order to get her to eat. I got her at 9 weeks. She's now eating her food with 1 tblsp. of baby food, rice/chicken, mixed in and she eats it. I am trying to figure out what puppy treat to buy so I can reward her when she poops and pees outside. So far I have noticed that changes in her food give her diarrhea. Anyone with the same problem that have found a treat that won't cause constant pooping?? I appreciate the advice on what has worked for you. Thanks Esther:

I wouldn't give her TOO many treats. Anything in moderation should be fine for her. My 2 like Canine Carryouts...they come in a blue and white bag...you can get them from Walmart or any pet store. They like these bc they are soft and easy to break into little peices and chew up. A lot of times, puppies teeth are too small to chew up anything real hard or too big. Yorkies are so picky that I think the main thing is finding them a treat they they actually LIKE, at least that is how it is with my two. Good luck finding a treat that your little one will like!

changes to her food must be done gradually. I personally just use their kibble as treats/reward especially when they are still very young.

| I give my little girl honey nut cherrios. I know, it sounded unusual to me too, but I saw that alot of people here give it to their puppies and it has worked perfectly for Beauty and she is 12 weeks.

What puppy treats to give my puppy? Thanks you! I have a box of Cheerios here, not the sweet kind, but I will give them a try. I'll also check out the other suggestions you all gave me. Thanks again!

take a look at the list of dangerous foods. baby food is one of them. make sure none of the ones you're giving your baby has onion powder in them. or garlic and such.
