| Chiggers!!! We are having an awful time with chiggers! Not only on me but on Reuger as well. He's really been itching and scratching and he was red welts on his underside. I have no doubts that it's chiggers. What I wanted to know is there anything that I can do to give Reuger some relief from the itching? Or any ideas on how to keep the chiggers off of him? Thanks for your help.

Donating YT 14K Club Member | I'd check with your vet. I wonder if frontline or one of those would help? In the mean time, why not try some calimine lotion on those bites. It would help with the itching.

| Poor little guy. I think you should call your vet, maybe you can give him some benadryl to stop the itching. Spraying your yard is a good idea but make sure you use a product that is not toxic. Good luck, please keep us posted. |

No Longer a Member | Don't know bout you folks but around here they are awful. Believe it or not we use a dab of fingernail polish on them, it seals the bite blocking air from it, helping the itching. Works for humans, maybe animals as well? Just an opinion. |
