| I cook liver, chicken and mince for my girl's dinner. She has kibble for breakfast and lunch. If we are having chicken or steak, I give her some if it is plain. She loves her meat!

| I boil chicken and chop up and package the meat and broth in little baggies and freeze them. Each night I defrost one bag (about 1/4 cup) and toss it with kibble that is split between my 2 yorkies and larger mixed breed. One chicken goes a long way and the dogs love it. I never buy canned food anymore.

| We homecook all of Punkin's meals. She is 11 months old and we've been doing that since she came to live with us in December.

| We feed Punkin just about anything as long as it's not something that's good for dogs. We feed beef, chicken, lamb, turkey, fish. (no prok) Fruits (no citrus, pits or grapes) Veggies (very small amounts of broccoli/cauliflower) Potatoes, sweet potatoes, brown rice, whole wheat pasta, whole wheat bread plain yogurt cottage cheese No garlic, or onions Currenty we cook two weeks worth at a time and then freeze it so all we have to do is thaw, warm slightly and feed. My fav book at the moment is: Better Food For Dogs http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/077...Fencoding=UTF8 It's a long link so you'll probably have to copy and paste it into your browser in 2 pieces.
