| Won't chew food For probably the past month, Layla has been throwing up about once a week. When she throws up, it is basically just whole peices of kibble. A couple weeks ago I was at a friend's house and I had some kibble in my purse that I was feeding her, and she just took the whole kibble from my hand and swallowed and took another. It really scares me because this is pretty big peices of food. When I got her she was on Eukenuba puppy food, but when she was 4 months old (2 months ago) I took her to the vet and had her switched to hypoallergenic adult food. At first I was worried it was too big for her, because each kibble was about 4 times the size of the Eukenuba ones. But she got along fine with them. But now all of a sudden she won't chew them anymore! What can I do?

| Obviously, she isn't uncomfortable swallowing whole pieces - so, it probably isn't hurting her -- But - just in case - you could try going back to some smaller sized pieces. Or - maybe there is a temporary reason for this - is she losing and getting new teeth - she may just not have the teeth to chew well right now. Good luck! Carol Jean |

| You know, I never even thought of that! But she is teething right now, and she has been losing quite a few of them over the past few weeks. Thanks!

| Gucci does that sometimes to and it drives me crazy, she will just swallow the kibbles without chewing. She eats the nutro lamb and rice and the kibbles are smaller. I guess it depends on their moods, sometimes she chews other times she inhales..lol Gina |
