| Wet Food Does anyone feed their babies only wet food?? JD decided he doesn't want to eat dry food anymore. I bought him Merrick and when I mix dry and wet he won't eat it, but if I give him just the wet he licks the plate clean. I don't know what to do. I tried mixing the Merrick with dry Nutro Max and he won't eat that either. I don't know what to do anymore. Is it healthy for him to eat only wet? or should they really have dry too??? Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

| Ollie did not like any of the quality dog foods, but she eats Pedigree. Maybe your dog is teething and the hard food is too hard right now. I also suipplement with cottage cheese and scrambled eggs. |

| JD is 16 months, so I know he is not teething. He was always fine with dry food. He just out of the blue stopped eating it. He is the pickiest little guy I've ever known. |

| unless u brush his teeth often to maintain the dental health of his teeth and gums, then wet only might be okay. but yorkies are already prone to premature tooth decay, wet only probably won't help. i'm of the opinion that bunjee can either eat and finish his dry food or he can go hungry. if he had his way, his diet would consist of nothing but treats and meat rolls. those he'll eat as soon as i put them down. his dry food may take a little time to eat and finish. try getting samples of various foods and find one that he really likes. good luck. |

| I'm in the same predicament. Roxy has become constipated and I think it's from the wet food, but she pouts if I only put out dry food. Romeo eats on the run anyway, so he couldn't care less as long as something is in the bowl. Any suggestions on treating constipation?

| I had just the opposite situation. Katy quit eating wet food. She loves her dry. |

| Ok, I guess we are going to have to go to the vet. Now he is not eating at all and he stopped going to the bathroom....1 and 2. He is acting fine though, running, playing, jumping. I just don't get it. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Cali was doing that a couple of weeks ago. She was barely eating and hadn't pooped in 5 days. I took her to the ER vet and they said dogs dn't get constipated too often and as long as she wasn't trying to go but couldn't she was ok. But they did Xrays and thought she had a blockage which she didn't but I would definately talk to the vet. Cali ate real good for 3 days and now she won't eat again. It is so stressful. Please let us know what happens.

| we have both our dogs, jack and lola, (yorkie and min schnauzer) on natural balance venison and brown rice dog food. in the am, they eat dry...it's a struggle for jack because he's into playing with our 3 cats than eating, but will run over and nibble. in the evening, they get their dry mixed with 1/3 of a can of natural balance venison and brown rice wet and their food is gone in 3 minutes...no joke. we feed them this brand because of jack's tremendous food allergies- we had him tested. he's allergic to: chicken, duck, pork, soy, oatmeal, barley, milk, eggs, and peas. they love this food and their coats are fantastic. he did have some skin allegies but they've cleared up. and for treats they get natural balance dry lamb rolls and they love bully sticks. you just need to feed a good food and boy did we try everything out there! |
