| What type of anesthesia is safe for yorkies? Hi everyone. Madison and Cady have to have their baby canine teeth removed on Wednesday. My vet said he uses Penathol as an anesthesia. Is this safe to use on yorkies? Thanks! |

| i had the same question... everyone usually says that a gas anesthetic is safe, such as isofluorane. i don't know what penathol is, but maybe it is a sedative or pain medication. good luck!

| I took an anesthetic information form from my vet to read. Gus will be neutered in about a month. It says they use Sevoflurane Anesthesia, the safest anesthetic for veterinary use (and the most widely used in pediatric surgeries). The product is more expensive than common isoflurane gas, but provides better control, faster recovery, and greater overall safety.
