| On the barf diet they give raw chicken and beef so I imagine raw liver is okay too.

| My cats love raw liver and I tried Holly on it.She ate it happily, but I have a friend who said it should be cooked for dogs, that offal isn't good for them raw. I cooked it and she will eat a little. She ate more raw! Not sure if this is right or not.. I would like to know the best thing to do too! |

| Jazzie & Jewel get raw liver as long as its fresh. Actually I give them any meat except for poultry raw as long as it's fresh including fish. They LOOOOOOVE raw tuna!

| Years ago I had several old breeders tell me that they gave puppies that wouldn't eat a blend of liver and buttermilk. Over the years I have given it to dozens of puppies and dogs and they loved it and did very well on it. It is especially helpful for puppies recovering from parvo, giardia, coccidia and hookworms where their red blood count is low and their appetite is poor. |
