Awww poor Toto. :( She will realize soon that Mama and Papa are only wanting what is best for her. I'm going to have to look into these C.E.T Chew's for sure. Do they make any kind of mess on their hair, etc? Or do they stay clean and gooey free?? We havent used Greenies in this house it seems forever and I've been in search for the perfect/digestable/non messy/chew item. |
CET chews I have been using the petite CET chews since I first got Bogey in April. The vet's office recommended them the first visit for dental health. Both Bogey and Gabey love them and have them each day. When I was at the vet's one time the head vet tech asked me if my dogs use them and told me how good my dogs teeth looked in comparison to another Yorkie's that they had just seen. Obviously, that pup had not been using them. I couldn't believe the price difference on Amazon.com. I pay $11 for a package of 30 and even though there is a shipping/handling charge I can order a couple of packages at a time. Even though I keep them in their ziploc bag and another ziploc bag on top of that, I still find that they do become more brittle after opening no matter how careful you are. Has anyone else found this to be true? P.S. No, they are not messy or stick to things. The perfect treat!!! |
Ok Please help....I am so confused about the Greenies discussion. Zoey is 14 weeks and hasn't had a greenie yet. My breeder recommended them and I bought a bag but haven't opened yet. What should I do? She also told me to give her Pigs ears ??? What should I give instead? Thank you. |
I am a new yorkie owener, Been using Greenie about 3 mths but i only give him 1 or 2 a week. Should i switch him to "cet chew" . Thank you ~todd |

I have never given Tiger greenies and after reading so much of it on this forum I knew I won't ever get him to try it. Instead, I give him 100% smoked tendon/muscle sticks . . . |
CET chews are great. I gave Taylor a greenie once and never again after everything I read about them. My vet said the CET chews really help keep their teeth healthy. Taylor has never gotten sick and they don't get all gummy like other chews. The day I was at the vet there was a 3 year old yorkie that already was having some teeth pulled. I heard they have terrible teeth problems. I'd hate to have that happen to Taylor....the chews are worth it. They also make a CET dental rinse that is easy to use in between brushings. |
Hearing stuff Is any legal action being taken to the comapny that makes Greenies? |

Prior to getting my Stormy his dental chews from our vet, I considered getting him the Greenies. Now I'm kind of happy that I didn't. They sound like they're very addictive! |
