|  Recently neutered pet Hey guys, I got my Bruce -3yrs old Yorkie- neutered 4 days ago. He has a vet visit tomorrow, but his incision looks odd to me. Its not red nor discharging anything, but its a bit swollen and turning sort of black-ish on one side. He seems quite lethargic and I just feel scared for the little guy; he is only 7lbs so I’m worry he may be in big discomfort. I wish I could upload a picture but the system keeps failing! Are these symptoms normal? |

| Welcome to YT, I would get this baby to your vet for a look see. Doesn't sound normal to me. I have had several babies that had surgery and never was it turning a blackish color. Vet today and please keep us posted.

| Well your vet should be able to tell you if everything is ok. Sometimes the skin changes colors.

| Thank you for the messages. Bruce was taken to the vet and he is fine... I’m just paranoid lol... well, rather safe than sorry ^_^ |
