| Seeking Flea Treatment Recommendation I have had my two dogs on Advantage Multi (flea and heartworm) topical. A couple weeks ago I found a couple live fleas on the dogs. I thought maybe this topical wasn’t working any longer so I used Frontline last week. After 5 days I have found a couple more live fleas on them. I have a call in to my vet for a recommendation but she will be out until tomorrow & I wanted to see if anyone had suggestions on what works for fleas that seems to be somewhat resilient against the typical topical. I see that here are some oral medications. How has experience been with these small dogs on the oral meds? My one main concern with an oral medication is that Monroe has been diagnosed with pancreatitis from one specialist and enteritis by the second specialist; so either way we have to be extremely careful with her diet. Any thoughts would be much appreciated! |
