| Kooper had surgery today. Please check all toys! My dog ate the ears off of a small rubber toy and one lodged in his stomach and one in his intestine. He was very sick and throwing up. He will now only have his toys when we are with him. He took some out of the doggy door without us realizing and he was pulling them apart. Poor baby! We feel so guilty that this happened to him. We love this little guy so much....

| Max would always chew the eyes or any other attached part off the toys so he gets none of those anymore. We all do the best we can for our furbabies but sometimes they are a little too slick and get into something they shouldn't. Don't feel guilty. Just give him the TLC he needs now and everything will work out. We wish him a quick recovery!

| These little dogs are exactly like young human toddlers....you can NOT let them out of your sight....and you say yours goes outside thru a doggie door, unattended, into the back yard, out of sight so he can do all his adventursome stunts.....next thing you have to worry about is someone stealing him from the back yard, or some animal/hawk going off with him!! Glad he is doing better, feeling better....these pups make their own fun, their own entertainment....you can not leave them unsupervised for even a minute! His "fun" will end up costing you a ton of money, if he survives it! |

| Our Kooper is doing well thankfully. All rubber toys thrown away. Kooper is a big yorkie and that is the only reason we have a doggy door. We are both retired and home all the time. If we are gone we close the doggy door. We love this little boy. We have a six foot privacy fence with a lock on the gate.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Get well soon little man!! You're a great Mom for noticing something was gravely wrong and needed a vet's help.

| Sorry to hear about him. I hope he gets a full and quick recovery. Mine absolutely destroy toys as well. Uni is pretty good about not swallowing the pieces but I can't totally trust Toto. Uni is like a person where I can tell her not to do something and she won't do it. Toto is totally a dog. LOL.

| Kooper had his week check up. Everything looked good and he can start transitioning back to his kibble. I have seen Kooper tear a toy apart and he would also leave the pieces. No more, he suffered and it was spendy. Hate to take them but I cannot trust him or myself in making sure that I have my eyes on him all the time. The little monkey is so fast that he could swallow a piece before I could take it away! This old Grammy is not that fast! Thank you all for your best wishs for my Kooper boy!
