| Bella had an extra heart beat at this visit & needs an EKG Has anyone's dog ever had an extra heart beat? Bella went in for her 2nd Lyme shot and the doctor asked if there was anything I wanted to talk about so I told her about Bella passing out that one time and she listened to her heart for a good 10 minutes and said she had an extra heart beat. She has listened to her heart like this at every visit and never said she heard it before. She is going Wed for an EKG and the Dr said I would know the results immediately. She will be there for 6 hrs. Why do they have to stay so long? She is not having anesthesia as I asked the vet aids if I could feed her before she came and they said yes since she was not having anes. Has anyone's dog ever had an EKG? Is it painful in anyway for them?

| Little Zsa Zsa went for the test . No it is not painful . It take so long because they want to see the reactions at different time of the day . Last edited by Diego; 06-05-2005 at 03:19 AM. |
