| ![]() ![]() The other day I bought 2 bully sticks from my local pet store, 9" each total was $15. They are the Red Barn brand. Shopping at Wal-Mart I saw 2- 12" bully sticks for $5.87. These are from India. With India so respectful of cattle as they might be reincarnated family I'm wondering if they are processed more safely than other places. I'm not trying to stir up any religious problems but am trying to be honest and respectful. I saw some for sale at another store that had 3 different possible countries of origin that I believe are not careful in their slaughtering so I didn't buy those. Would you buy from India or any other country????????

| ![]() No I buy bully sticks for my boy at my local feed store, if they are not made in the US I will not buy, even if it means Cody goes without one for weeks until I can find a made in the US.

![]() I had to get a magnifying glass and the Red Barn ones are made in Paraguay in their own plant. This is the last time I buy their brand. For some reason I thought they were USA made. ![]() I get tired of reading fine print on all the food items. Once I find one that meets my criteria I will stick to it.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | ![]() Since bully sticks are mostly left as is vs other treats that are totally manufactured from other ingredients, I'm personally not as concerned as to where they were made. If it were me, yes, I'd buy the ones made in India and not feel worried about it.

| ![]() I don't like bulky sticks at all. I like Oinkies instead, pig skins.
