I do agree that saying to someone "are you NUTS?" is a little...well...abrupt and potentially rude, depending on context and intention. I'm glad the poster who said it came back and recognized that it probably wasn't quite the right thing to say. |
Taylor. Sorry I was not clear. Megansmomma said "I'm in Ill, so there isn't a flea problem here." So Peppy responded by saying that was not true, as she is in Ill and does see fleas. This response was not accepted by some. I and Peppy took the MM quote to mean " I'm in Ill, so(therefore) there isn't a flea problem here(in Ill). As in " I'm in the North Pole, so we don't have a flea problem here" ( OMG, I hope they do not have fleas in the North Pole??) Perhaps MM meant there are not fleas in her part of Ill. But that is not what was written, in my reading of the words anyway. Some including me tend to write as they would speak, and without body language and intonation to back up the words, words and their meaning can be open to interpretation. But this thread is about Nexgard. Did not mean to deflect attention from the subject. |

Flea tick issues- need advice? Hi- I live in NJ but going to SC in Oct-Nov. we go to all dog parks & the beach. I socialize him with most dogs. Casey is 5 3/4lbs I was using Revolution (topical) from vet till his last visit. She changed because he went up 3/4lb. She didn't say anything about cutting pills etc she gave me Nexgard & Heartgard. I am supposed to start tomorrow but will wait till Sunday as I will be home all day. I am nervous about change & the chewies- Casey just stopped taking his omega 3 chewie??? And Nexgard says must be chewed not swallowed whole. Yes 1st time Yorkie owner & he is 13 mos old. Need advice on cutting pills too? Thanks all that help! |
