| Just wondering what everyone is feeding their yorkies, which dry food do you think is the best? I am currently feeding Max Acana,I wanted to try something different,I dint want him to get bored of it, what does everyone recommend as a good alternative?

| If it is working for Maxman, I wouldn't do anything different. My boys have been eating the same brand kibble, same flavor almost non-stop for years. I very briefly tried a couple of other brands, but immediately went right back. Maybe I have weird dogs? They love their food. We do supplement with a little fresh food here and there, nothing excessive to throw off the balance of their diet.

| Hey, there, Cowboy fan, almost time for the draft again! My boy eats prescription food - Hill's I/D hepatic and gastro-intestinal mixed together for his MVD. I fix it various ways to give it different taste and texture.

| We fed Acana for a long time and he did very well on it. Once they started adding a ton of peas and lentils, etc, I noticed poop getting softer. I'm currently very happy with Farmina. Their testing and quality control is up to my standards but they also have ingredients that I like. I am currently feeding the Cod Low-Grain formula and he's doing fabulous. We fed the Wild Boar first and still have some left so some nights I mix it up and will give him half Cod/half Boar. They're a really great company, it's slowly becoming available in stores - our local store now sells it, but Chewy.com also has it. I am shocked at how much he likes this food. He is very picky. My dads dogs are even worse, and they are liking it too. The female likes Cod, the male likes the Boar lol. http://usa.farmina.com/?q=content/pr...fish-orange-31

| You could try throwing in something else alongside his current food instead of just feeding him a different brand. Just switching dog food randomly can upset their digestive system. Have you tried feeding him carrots? My older dogs love chewing them and I feel they are much safer than raw bones. Last edited by JuanRamos; 05-07-2014 at 10:23 PM. |

| Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Acana is a nice food. Do you want something to alternate with maybe? What about Origin, Natures Variety, or Nature's Logic...just tossing out some ideas.

| Donating YT 3000 Club Member | There is a lot of foods out there. . .sometimes it is confusing. I love grain free foods. Fromm has great grain free. I also love Natures Variety . . My cats eat that one. . . Right now Galen is eating Primal and Stella and Chewy brands of freeze dried raw food. . . Sometimes, unless there is a recall, if they love what they are eating . . They are good !

| LOL!!! Think Johnny will still be around to send Jerry Jones into a total tailspin, eyes gleaming at the thought of the worldwide press he'd be getting and you know he'd take him - Bromance w/Romo or not - or will they take a good defensive guy or trade .................... down. I hate when they trade down from their first pick - totally anti-climactic. Getting nervous!!! Go 'Boys!

| I feed my Yorkies and Pomeranians Acana as well. I was feeding them the Acana Grain free Wild Prairie and just switched them over to Acana Grain free Pacifica to change up the flavor. My Yorkies loved the Pacifica. You could try a different flavor within the same brand as others have suggested.

| I doubt he'll be there at 16 though they keep saying he's dropping for this and that reason but it's probably just gamesmanship for those hoping to get him.

| I heard the Cowboys have Blake Bortels ranked ahead of Manziel, wouldn't mind getting him either!

| He looks like he could mature into a 21st century NFL quarterback - one that could stand up to the hits. Tall and talented.

| I'm really hoping for a QB. Manziel,Bortels or Jimmy Garoppolo. Need someone to take over for Romo in a couple of years. I heard Garoppolo is kinda like Romo!
