chester eats the acana and does well on it, and before that the sundancer grain free from solid gold is a great food, and diamond does that have anything to do with solid gold any more. The acana makes him drink alot of water and he has been checked just something in the food.

i like both. My yorkies like either:) I switched to acana because it had a few less ingredients and protein. I wanted to see if it helped my girls with their itchiness, and my Stella has had itchy, watery eyes. I think it would be good for any yorkie, not just the ones with food sensitivities. Also great for their skin and coat:) Just makes their breath a little fishy. lol. My girls also really liked the lamb and okanagan apple too.:aimeeyork

4 year old Jillie has eaten Orijen all her adult life. She loves it and she's been healthy. Eddie's been on it about 5 years. Loves it.

Orijen is what we're looking to buy next.... our question is: does the senior orijen come in small enough kibble... bad teeth... pretty sure he swallows it whole.. no problem, he eats a lot of it. His current Natural Choice is about the size of a .22 caliber pellet. We've got about a week left to locate it. :eek:

I am about to switch mine from AvoDerm to Wellness LID Salmon and Potato. I am switching due to the fact that Avoderm stopped selling their Small Breed Kibble in a bigger package. I go through a 4 pound bad in about 1.5 weeks.

Wellness comes in a bigger bag and should last me at least a month to 6 weeks. I am hoping they like it.

We are switching to improve skin and coat. I'm hoping it works. The kibble is bigger so I may actually break it up a bit each time. Origen makes a puppy formula, but our girl is 2.5yrs now so I prefer to put her on an adult food.

It's a wonderful food - but I still wonder if you shouldn't just feed more fresh and abandon kibble for a while. Check out SoJos - you can do cooked or raw meat. It's SUPER easy and fast to make a batch, freeze it into tupperware, and defrost the tupperware as needed.

It's seeming she likes to eat "more" than the recommended serving of Origen so we will be also feeding her a fresh "salad" everyday. She loves her fruit and veggies. I'll also check out the SoJos. We travel a lot it seems so I worry a bit about not having the kibble. We are using coconut oil on her hair and it has made a tremendous difference! And then she loves licking the spoon!

Just becareful that the extras you are feeding her don't make up more then 10% of her diet or you are going to have balancing issues which has its own problems.

Fruits and veg are very good for kiddos, so that's great she loves them :)!

What I do for travel is use kibble during - works great!
