this is solid gold. i feed hershey this. I just got this for hershey since i herad solid gold was good and it seemed to have no corn or by products in it, but im not sure if it's the best food i could have gotten him since no one seems to have it

How does Hershey like it? I've heard and read very good things but it's so hard to confidently choose the right food...

when ffirst started mixiing it with his old food, he LOVED IT and he would pick it out from his old food. but after awhile he got sick of it.. so he woudn't eat it unless he was really hungry. i didn't giev up of course. but it seems to be fine now. he eats normallly and i guess he knows that im not gonna change foods around anymore haha

How about Flint River , Royal canin or Natural Balance? Anyone try these with their Babies? I think we should have a poll on best/tasty/healthy food for Yorkies

I've been trying to find more information on Flint River but with no luck. Brady is eating Royal Canine right now but there is some paw chewing going on as well as some itchy skin, I think she might be sensitive to the wheat flour in it.

I'm going to put her on Solid Gold and see how she does.

Natural Balance is my recommendation if you are shopping at a Petco to me it seems to be the best quality they carry in my area. Royal Canin is what I feed Gracie(Puppy 33) and she has had some itching and ear infections that seem to be caused by something in Royal Canin. I recently ordered Innova EVO which is a very good food but is high in calories so she will have to be schedule fed. One more thing about Natural Balance..the Allergy Formula Potato and Duck Gracie hated and it was also a bigger kibble.

Flint River I did some reading on and seems to be a good food but not familiar with it any other way.

I would love to see a poll on best foods for our puppies and adults..anyone else like to get this going? I do not know about small size good kibble.. not sure how big Flint River is.. but it keeps coming up as #1 in the polls I have read on the web..

I am definitely interested in knowing what other Yorkie parents are feeding their little ones. The wheat flour in Flint River throws me off as I think my gal may be sensitive to the stuff... I'll let you guys know how the Solid Gold Hundchen Flocken goes....

I actually purchased the whole dogs article that was supposed to list the top ten for this year but instead just listed all approved dog brands. Almost all the foods mentioned here are on the list.

I was thinking of switching to either Royal Canin or Natural balance since you can get it at local petco. Is Natural balance holistic? Is it in small pieces or large? Is it okay for puppies or is it for older dogs?
